Handmade by Kyohei Nakagawa in Karatsu, Japan
Handthrown cup in stoneware. For this particular style, white slip is applied while the high-iron clay body is still wet and semi-dry. After drying, a thin layer of ash glaze is applied. Due to the change of temperature in the kiln and the influence of various elements, the uncertainty of glaze color on the surface changes naturally, making each cup completely unique. Sold individually.
