Katsuaki Shigeno

Katsuaki Shigeno obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, concentrating in oil painting and prints. As both a painter and a printmaker, Shigeno has created prints and print-based works with various printing disciplines and different materials like Japanese paper, silver, charcoal and crayons. His works are in the collections of individuals and institutions, including the Mahida City International Print Museum, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery and Ooka Makoto Kotoba Museum.
