Its earthy tones and tactile charm make it a refined choice for savoring sake with a connection to nature and tradition. Comes with a wooden box signed by the artist.

‘Hikidashi’ 引出し is a unique technique used by Nozomu Shinohara during the final stages of anagama firing. As the kiln's intense heat melts the ash from burning firewood, it flows across the surface of the pottery like liquid. The pieces are carefully removed ('unloaded') from the kiln and exposed to air, instantly cooling the molten ash and solidifying its movement. This process creates mesmerizing, textured surfaces that capture a moment frozen in time, resulting in breathtaking, one-of-a-kind landscapes on each piece.
