Yoshiaki Yuki is a celebrated Japanese artist known for blending tradition with innovation across various mediums, including ceramics, textiles, paintings, and calligraphy. Born in 1945 in Kagoshima, Yuki began his artistic journey at 20 and gained international recognition with his solo exhibition Lake Zurich in 1971. His signature art form, Ji-Sho-Ji-Ga, transforms ancient Japanese and Chinese characters into expressive visual art.

Over the decades, Yuki has exhibited internationally, designed galleries, and merged art with daily life, profoundly influencing Japanese lifestyle concepts and earning admiration from art collectors worldwide.

Washi paper, a traditional Japanese handmade paper, is crafted from natural fibres such as mulberry bark, mitsumata, or gampi shrubs. Thanks to the unique blend of fibres used in its creation, each piece of washi paper carries its own distinctive texture and character, making it truly one of a kind and perfect for artistic expression.
